I think...

Tuesday, March 31, 2009
I think I still want it to be Spring break. Not that I really had the week off, but there was something nice about Ella not being in school and being able to relax a little. Plus, as a special treat to her, we left work at 3 PM on Thursday and Friday. I sooooo could leave work everyday at 3 PM, but don't get me started on that.

I think we have summer care lined up for Ella. What a chore!!! I hope it works out.

I think right now if I had to give a young career woman advice it would be to live off of only 75% of her money and then when she has kids, reduce her work time to 75% so that she can be home with her kids....if she decides that is what she wants to do. I enjoy my work a lot, but I would be at peace if I could take Ella to school, go to work, and then pick her up from school. I never imagined I'd be at such odds with this. I've always been career oriented and I think I still am, but when you see your child exhausted night after night, your perspective can change quickly.

Hey Pretty Baby

with the high heels on. I just love it when a Michael Jackson song gets in my mind and I can't shake it. Lately, it's been the Man in the Mirror. I love singing that one in my car...by myself. Michael Jackson is so weird now days, but he has made some great music in his time. I wrote him the corniest letter in 4th grade!...but I was in love. :)

We took E to see her specialist in Madison this week. We got a really good report. One of her tubes fell out...we think...so we need to have that checked and monitored. We used my parents' GPS and loved it. I know we are way behind the times by just now using one, but it is really awesome. We missed an exit in Rockford because of continuous construction and it totally helped us get back on our route. We would have been in big trouble without it.

Mr. A crashed early tonight. He has been fighting a cold and other junk for a few weeks now. He has to drive to Chicago tomorrow, so I hope he feels better in the morning, but he'll probably crash again tomorrow. Some times he does great staying awake in the evenings and other times...not so much.

Today and tomorrow I left work at 3 so that we could go get Ella early. It was sooooo nice. I wish I could do that everyday. Alas, the bills must be paid! On that note, kind of, we are re-financing our house. Will save us some $$ each month, which is very needed.

Well, I'm not really sure what all this was about...just rambling when I should be in bed. Until next time.
