Sickies

Is "sickies" a word? Well, if not, it should be. My lovely husband hasn't been feeling well and it is Spring Break. Poor guy. So, the kids and I tried to make the best of it. They played outside a lot today, which was great because it will be 40 degrees on Thursday! My daughter worked very hard at making sand cakes and had them on display on their picnic table. Later, my sweetheart of a son took the whiffle bat and smashed them. He thought he was a pretty funny guy! Then we went on a walk around the neighborhood. The first one of the season! Looking forward to more warm and sunny days ahead.
